This Cancellation Policy outlines general guidelines for events booked at The View at The 500 Club located in Glendale, Arizona. It applies to weddings, corporate events, private parties, and other social gatherings held at the venue.
Please note that this policy is provided for informational purposes only. Specific cancellation terms, payment schedules, and obligations are governed by the signed Event Agreement between the client and The View at The 500 Club.
Reservation & Deposit
To secure an event date at The View at The 500 Club, a signed Event Agreement and required deposit must be received.
Event dates are not considered confirmed until both the executed agreement and deposit have been received.
Deposits are typically non-refundable and are applied toward the total event cost unless otherwise specified in the Event Agreement.
Cancellation by Client
If a client chooses to cancel an event, written notice must be provided to The View at The 500 Club.
Cancellation fees may apply based on the date the written notice is received.
Typical cancellation timelines are as follows:
- More than 90 days prior to the event date: Initial deposit is forfeited. Additional payments beyond the deposit may be refundable depending on contractual terms.
- 60–89 days prior to the event date: Up to 50% of the estimated total event cost may be retained.
- 30–59 days prior to the event date: Up to 75% of the estimated total event cost may be retained.
- Less than 30 days prior to the event date: Up to 100% of the estimated total event cost may be due and payable.
If any discrepancy exists between this page and the signed Event Agreement, the Event Agreement will take precedence.
Refund Policy
If a refund is applicable, it will typically be processed within a reasonable timeframe after written confirmation of cancellation.
Refund eligibility may depend on:
- The cancellation timeline
- Payments already received
- Non-recoverable expenses incurred by the venue
- Third-party vendor costs or services already arranged
Approved refunds will generally be issued using the original method of payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Rescheduling
Requests to reschedule an event are subject to venue availability and approval.
Depending on timing and circumstances, rescheduling may be treated as a cancellation and rebooking.
At the discretion of The View at The 500 Club, previously paid fees may be applied toward a new event date, less any administrative costs or expenses already incurred.
Cancellation by the Venue
In rare circumstances, The View at The 500 Club may need to cancel an event due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather
- Natural disasters
- Government restrictions
- Facility emergencies
- Other events that make the venue unavailable
In such cases, liability will generally be limited to the refund of payments received, excluding non-recoverable expenses.
The View at The 500 Club shall not be responsible for additional damages, costs, or losses resulting from such cancellation.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fires, floods, labor disputes, government actions, or other unforeseen emergencies that make the event impracticable or impossible to hold.

This Cancellation Policy is provided for general informational purposes and may be updated periodically.
All final terms regarding cancellations, payments, and refunds will be governed by the executed Event Agreement between the client and The View at The 500 Club.
